Adult product terms in plain language
Terms should reduce uncertainty. If a label does not tell you what is being measured or promised, ask for a more precise description.
Dimensions and construction
Total length may include a handle or base; usable length is a different measure. Diameter and circumference are not interchangeable. Contact material means the surface involved in use, which may differ from the handle or internal construction.
Controls and care
Rechargeable describes a power arrangement, not a battery lifespan guarantee. Connected describes features that may involve accounts and permissions. Water-resistance wording must be read with the manual; it does not establish that the whole object can be boiled or cleaned with any chemical.
Reviews and service
A comparison is not necessarily a hands-on test. A warranty covers stated faults under conditions, while a return policy may restrict opened products. Read the exact terms. None of these labels predicts personal enjoyment or removes the need for current consent in shared use.

Translate the question, not the person
A clear definition helps name what you mean. It does not reveal what another person wants. Name one proposed activity, ask whether it is welcome now and avoid treating an earlier answer as permission for something different.
